THINGS TO DO: Junee is a charming town with plenty to see and do. Take a stroll down the main street and admire the historic buildings, browse the local shops for unique souvenirs, or visit the Junee Roundhouse Museum to learn about the town's railway heritage. Visit the Canola Trail, great farming region of Southern NSW.

ROUND HOUSE  When officially opened in September 1947, the New South Wales Government Railways claimed it was the “largest roundhouse in the southern hemisphere”.
Construction started during the later years of WWII when it was realised that the existing locomotive sheds were too small.

Junee Golf Club’s 18 hole course benefits from the undulating hills with a usually dry creek running through many of the holes and is run by volunteers

Built by the same man who built the Junee Hotel. Monte Cristo is recognised as Australia’s Most Haunted Homestead.

the museum has a variety of thematic displays using artefacts from the Junee area presented so as to provoke thought and interest in the history of the Shire and sometimes a little of the humour of the residents.
